Fabre

Fabre can be credited as the author of two transformations into the Pastoral, that of his name from Philippe Francois Nazaire Fabre into Fabre d’Eglantine, and that of the traditional calendar into the French Republican calendar, with its iconography of flowers, fruits, animals and agricultural implements.
